I am a calm, relatable, and experienced mental health therapist. I believe in trust, safety, and creating a space where you can be yourself without judgment. I understand that having a strong connection with a therapist is a vital part to achieving goals and resolving your issues. I implement a wide range of therapeutic strategies that will empower you to bring positive change to your life. I currently accept BlueCross and BlueShield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare and United Behavioral (UBH) insurances

After achieving my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University, I moved on to Dominican University to obtain my Master’s degree in Social Work, with a concentration in mental health and international social work.

With over ten years of educational and clinical experience, I am a skilled mental health professional with a passion for helping individuals identify their goals, process their feelings in a healthy way, and learn to love who they are, imperfections included. Currently I work with preteens, teens and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including self-harm, anxiety, excessive worry, low self-esteem and confusion regarding your life’s direction.

Whether it is short term therapy to discover more immediate solutions to concrete and tangible issues, or long term examination to better know yourself and how your behaviors impact your actions and relationships with others, I take pride in effectively working with you to create self-empowerment that will bring meaningful change to your life.

Even on our darkest days the sun can come through.
