“How exactly can therapy help me?”
Therapy is different for each individual. It would be amazing if there was one approach to therapy that could help everyone. Each human being is unique, complex, and mysterious. That is why I approach therapy like a puzzle; I am curious, patient, calm, and determined. During the first session, I will assess your concerns and symptoms to identify the most effective approach to your presenting problems. From there, I will work to build rapport and trust, sharing with you the tools and strategies to manage your issues. Throughout your time with me, you will have a safe space to process your thoughts and feelings in a healthy way. I will serve as a positive support as we work together to identify solutions, resolve past traumas, and plan for a positive future.

ADAPT = Give something a new purpose, a new reason. We can manage change because that is what helps us to learn, to grow, and to succeed.
EMPOWER = How can I be mentally and emotionally stronger? How can I be more confident? How do I feel like I am making the decisions in my life? When you learn to fight your own negative thoughts, you can then use your skills, abilities, strengths to overcome your struggles.
FLOURISH = Working with me, you will learn to grow in a healthy way. We too often rely on our survival instincts… “DANGER! FIGHT! FLIGHT! FREEZE!” I will provide an environment that removes judgement, which will allow you view your life as more than just a “live or die” scenario. I will give you a place where you can talk about your fears, worries, and concerns. I will help you to understand that just because fears exist (which they do, and always will), it does not mean that you are not worth the effort to improve your life:
